We at Andalus would like to express our gratitude to all those who participated in the Andalus clean up day. The team of volunteers did a great job ensuring that we have a litter free environment at the front of the building. There are plans to further improve the area with a possible wild flower garden. Many thanks to Yusuf Feisel from the Clean Glasgow initiative who supplied the equipment and donated litter pickers and shovels so that we can continue to maintain the area.

We will be running a Thai Boxing and fitness class for boys aged (12-16) starting Sunday 4th of March, from 16:30 to 17:30. This will be a beginners class covering the basics of the sport. The cost will be £2 per class. Please register your interest in the activities section of the website.

After successful courses in Edinburgh, Manchester and Birmingham, Mourad Diouri will be coming to Glasgow to deliver a taster course on Islamic-Arabic Language. Mourad will be unveiling the beauty of the arabic language, exploring its meanings and significance. If you are studying the Qur'an, Mourad will open up the meanings of the words and how to increase your vocabulary by understanding how the language works. This is an opportunity for boys and girls, age 8 - 11 years to unleash their creative skills under expert guidance.

This is a special treat for pre-school children and a greater treat for Mums and Dads who will be able to leave their little darlings for one hour and a half and go enjoy some adult pampering.
