Andalus interfaith and nature
 22nd September 2014  |  Views: 68928

Andalus was delighted to participate in a family event sponsored by Forestry Commission Scotland which featured a variety of activities in the woods for all ages including bushcraft, bow & arrow making, foraging walks, storytelling, games for children, drumming workshops and face-painting.

The Andalus stall highlighted Islam's connection with nature with a rich display of Quranic verses, prophetic sayings, nature meditations, the importance of green in Islam and the connection to permaculture. There were representatives from other faith traditions also displaying their connection to nature.

Andalus would like to thank Interfaith Glasgow for the invitation to participate in this blessed event.
