Join us for a Family Fun Day packed with engaging workshops/competitions/stalls for you and your children!
Home-made food and baking, stalls, henna, face painting, cycling and many more activities for kids.
11am - 5pm
Adults £1 Kids 50p
There will be ongoing workshops and games running throughout the day however we are hosting a few workshops with limited spaces that will run at certain times, so book your place now!
•Eco System in a Jar Workshop
Learn the science of an eco-system by creating your own in a jar! You will be shown how an eco-system works, then you can create one with coal filters, soil, a succulent plant and water. Screw on the lid, take it home and leave it! It requires no more upkeep as you have made a self-contained, and fully self-sufficient eco system. We will give you tips on how to take care of your little plant, and signs to watch out for if your eco-system is imbalanced and what to do about it.
•Rags to Riches Upcycling Workshop
Learn how to repurpose junk into something beautiful! This hands on workshop is a great activity, showing the many waste items that can be repurposed in fun, creative ways. Professionals will be on hand on the day to give you useful tips and assist you with your hands on projects.
•Coin Collection Cycling Competition
This fun team-based competition will be tailored to individuals who are confident enough to test their bike handling skills. Participants are given an obstacle course pottered with tins and a handful of coins of a certain colour. Teams will be split into four groups with an equal ability and age range. Your aim is to go round the obstacle course while dropping your team's coloured coins into the tins. The teams with the greatest number of coins in the tins, WINS! Prizes will be awarded for the winning team. *Please bring your own bikes.
If booking for a child please state their age when booking a ticket.
