Dr. Manouchehr Moshtagh Khorasani is working on reviving Persian swordsmanship and the traditional martial arts of Iran, and is specially interested in transferring ancient leadership tenets from strategy books and swordsmanship to modern day leadership seminars and training.

Dr. Manouchehr Moshtagh Khorasani has written five books, 122 print articles and is the award-winning author who won the prestigious awards of the Book Prize of the Islamic Republic of Iran in 2012 for his book Lexicon of Arms and Armor from Iran: A Study of Symbols and Terminology and the Book Prize of the Islamic Republic of Iran in 2009 for his book Arms and Armor from Iran: The Bronze Age to the End of the Qajar Period. His last book “Persian Archery and Swordsmanship: Historical Martial Arts of Iran” deals with a number of manuscripts on Persian archery, swordsmanship and war wrestling. He has taught Razmafzar across Europe and Russia.
