Andalus have the pleasure of having Imam AbdulLatif Finch deliver a two day course on the Wisdoms of Ibn Ata'illah.
Wisdom does not originate from books, but some accounts do record the priceless wisdom of the wise. Ibn Ata-illah al Iskandari (d. 1309) , a profoundly wise man of Egypt, committed much of his experience with God to paper in what is known as “al Hikmah al Ata-iyya,” which literally translates into, Ata-illah’s Wisdoms. His aphorisms, which contain some of the most remarkable maxims of the relationship between Lord and Slave have been studied, committed to memory, and commented upon for centuries.
