Developing the Humankind Index – a national consultation!
Oxfam Scotland and its partners are carrying out a national consultation to find out what really matters to people in Scotland today. We want to find out what individuals, families and communities need to flourish and prosper today.
We are doing this because we recognise that as a country we need a new of doing things - a way that values the rights and needs of all people not just the one’s whose voices are always heard, and a way that cares for our environment.
We believe that economic measures of prosperity don’t tell the full story and that there are other things that matter to people.
Making sure your voice is heard!
We are conducting focus groups with a range of people whose voices are seldom heard to make sure that their experience of what it takes both to survive and thrive in Scotland today is included in the consultation.
We would like to meet with a small group (6-8) of your members to listen and learn from their experience. The meeting will be very informal and last between 1.5 – 2 hours. Participants will be given a £15 voucher as a token of our appreciation for their time, and we will also refund any reasonable expenses (e.g. travel & childcare) on presentation of a receipt.
