What We Do

We are currently conducting and developing educational and recreational activities to meet the needs of adults, promoting full participation of women, and much needed services for children in a positive learning environment.

The activities include: an imaginative Arabic playgroup for pre-school children, an educational mother and toddlers group, Arabic language and recitation classes for adults and children, a creative arts and crafts project and a discussion group on contemporary issues. We also provide crèche services.

We propose to expand and develop the above programs; as well as to develop among other activities, a new younger peoples program, a community drop in service to address issues of concern to Muslim women and men on a variety of topics such as marriage, work, education and contemporary issues.
